What is your business all about? I am a Leadership Trainer and Executive Coach as well as a speaker and blogger. I offer one-on-one and group coaching sessions and host masterminds, workshops, and retreats.
What made you start your business? I was called to Coaching. It is who I am and what I do.
What makes your business unique? With 18 years of experience working in a nationally-recognized family business as a courageous leader who bet on herself and won, and as a trailblazer for leadership and cultural development for the National Franchisee Association, I empower men and women to find their voice, powerfully stand on their own, and lead with BIGGER impact. I am a certified Co-Active, Partners In Leadership Accountability, and Positive Intelligence Coach who is accredited through the International Coaches Federation.
What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful business owner? Vision. Belief. Accountability.
What three pieces of advice would you give to someone who wants to launch their own business? Hire a coach! Learning as you go is not only the hardest way to learn, it is the most costly. Struggling is optional. By hiring a coach you will arrive at your destination in shorter time and will actually enjoy the journey.
Who has been your greatest inspiration? Or what book has inspired you the most? Or what is your favorite book? My father and brother, Tom Walsh, Sr. and Tom Walsh, Jr., are the two most inspirational people I know. They showed me what makes a good leader and a business owner. I continue to show up as a strong, powerful, entrepreneurial woman in hope of inspiring my two daughters, Ashlyn and Tenley.
How do you conquer those moments of doubt that so often stifle or trip up or stop so many? I coach myself and/or work with several coaches. I also have experienced the power of a belief plan. As one client put it "It is magical."
